Dr Tjibbe Bouma, Chairman of SPRINT Robotics commented in 2018: “The 1st World Conference for Inspection and Maintenance Robotics is yet another important milestone in realizing our goal of large-scale application of Robotics for Inspection and Maintenance. We are delighted to bring all stakeholders together globally for the first time. Since its inception just under four years ago, SPRINT Robotics has been growing with breathtaking speed. We have established a strong global presence, our participant support base has exploded, and Inspection and Maintenance Robotics has become one of four recognized main robotic service application fields. The 1st World Conference for Inspection and Maintenance Robotics will mark the beginning of a new phase, where we will start to focus on rapid scaling of available solutions and will branch out into new market sectors. As a globally recognized not-for-profit organization, we are uniquely positioned to speed up this process.”
